Cast Iron Censer – Turtle

A cast iron incense and pen holder designed in the shape of a turtle.

£56.00 per item

This cast iron incense holder was made in Iwate Prefecture, a place in Japan famous for its high-quality ironware. Designed with people working from home in mind, this turtle serves as both an incense holder and a pen holder suitable for home offices. The heavy iron body allows it to be used as paperweight, while the turtle-shaped design acts as a pleasing diversion while you work. Relaxation during breaks from work can be enhanced by the use of incense. Under the shell there are seven circular indentations to help secure incense and pens.

Due to the censer’s casting technique, these may feature individual differences in size and weight.
Dry thoroughly before storing to avoid potential rust stains on surfaces.
