Produced in Niigata Prefecture, this high-quality square pan features a heat-treated iron body with a natural wood handle. This thermal treatment strengthens the iron of the pan and creates an oxidized surface layer, increasing the pan’s durability. Small perforations in the surface absorb oil, reducing the risk of the pan’s contents burning during cooking. The oxidized layer will not peel off, even when metal cooking implements are used, unlike a resin finish. The pan’s distinctive square shape is designed to produce Japanese rolled omelettes, but can also be used to make other dishes including pancakes and French toast.

Clean with a sponge and detergent.
Not suitable for dishwasher or microwave.
