£75 per item

This beautifully handmade Japanese tea pot is a true testament to the expert craftsmanship of Hirashimizu Village in Yamagata Prefecture. Made with iron-rich soil from the local area, it features a stunning blend of blue and copper-red colours that resemble the skin of a ripe pear. During firing, red pine ash is added to the mix, resulting in a beautiful matt glaze that further enhances the aesthetics of this tea pot.
Crafted with over 200 years of pottery-making heritage and skill, each tea pot is made individually with a focus on both quality and functionality, making it perfect for everyday use. The earthy and natural texture of the tea pot adds to its charm, creating a one-of-a-kind piece that not only looks beautiful, but is also a piece of Yamagata’s rich history and heritage in its own right.

Due to the handmade nature of this item, each piece will differ slightly.
