Called ‘shoes like pottery’ because of how they are made, the soles of these shoes are in fact fired in a kiln to transform the rubber of which they are made. Having been treated with sulphur, the rubber is subjected to intense heat which causes a chemical reaction resulting in an elastic and resilient sole. In addition the bodies of the shoes are hand-sewn by skilled craftspeople using superior quality cotton canvas, to a design that introduces a minimalist aesthetic to this durable footwear. The result is a high-quality shoe that is both comfortable and striking.

Soak in water or lukewarm water to clean.
Wash with a shoe detergent or mild detergent, and brush off heavily soiled areas.
Rinse thoroughly.
After washing, shape the shoes with newspaper and dry in a well-ventilated shade.
