Thread-sewn binding is a technique that has a history in Japan of over 1,000 years. The high-precision thread-sewn binding of this notebook offers durability designed to last a lifetime, and the ability to open 360 degrees without breaking. This flexibility means the notebook’s pages can lie fully flat to provide a comfortable and smooth writing experience on its high-grade neutral paper. The cover, which is made of carefully selected linen fabric, is solid enough to be used as a clipboard when fully opened. The pages’ printed grids are gentle on the eyes to prevent fatigue, and their edges are rounded to avoid paper cuts when turning pages – features that attest to the makers’ attention to detail.
