These flower vases were sculpted from individual pieces of high-quality Japanese zelkova wood using age-old woodturning traditions from the Yamanaka area of Ishikawa Prefecture. These vases belong to the MUSUBI series designed by Konno Hiromichi, who was inspired by a poem written by Matsuo Bashō. The concept of the series is the immutability of nature and life and the shape of the vases represents one of the five elements of nature based on Japanese Buddhist thought; earth, water, fire, wind and space.

Exposure to direct sunlight and high humidity might cause colour to change.
Stop using with water if you notice breaks or cracks.
