Gyokusendo

Gyokusendo is a family-run copper workshop located in Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture. The techniques used by its craftspeople in producing hand-hammered tsuiki copperware – a style which involves beating a single sheet of copper into shape – have been developed over a period of 200 years. The workshop is dedicated to producing the highest-quality kettles, pans, pots and decorative items.
