Rokkō Miso

Founded in 1918, in Ashiya, Hyōgo Prefecture, Rokkō Miso meticulously preserves the age-old techniques of making miso, a Japanese fermented soy bean paste used as flavouring. Their flagship product is Rokkō Miso, a red rice miso with a high proportion of malted rice, slowly matured with reduced salt, and typical of Kansai area. Each of the ingredients are carefully selected and lovingly brewed by expert artisans.
