Since its founding in 2017, TAN has been producing stationery products using letterpress printing techniques to apply intricate patterns to paper. Working closely with expert craftspeople and designers, TAN recreates the patterns of treasures stored in the Shōsōin Repository, a rich store of cultural treasures built during the Nara period (710–794 CE) in the temple complex of Tōdai-ji in Nara.
