A rich, deep coffee produced by Kasuya Tetsu, winner of the World Brewers Cup.
Philocoffea was established by Kasuya Tetsu, winner of the 2016 World Brewers Cup competition. Kasuya purchases beans directly from farmers across the world before taking them back to the Philocoffea laboratory in Japan where the extraction and roasting process for each different bean is repeatedly tested and developed with great imagination and care. This coffee, 014 Rudder Blend – Dark, has a rich, sweet taste with a refreshing bitterness and is made using beans from Ethiopia, Colombia, Brazil, and Guatemala. It is created as an everyday coffee and makes the perfect gift for coffee connoisseurs or newcomers to the world of specialty coffee alike.

The Kantō region is densely populated and home to a third of the country's population. It is centred around the nation's vibrant capital – Tokyo, formerly known as Edo, which has been the cultural, economic and political heart of Japan for centuries. Outside this megacity, there are mountains, onsen and ski resorts, magnificent temple complexes and excellent surfing opportunities within easy reach.
