アクリル盆栽 もみじ
A high-quality acrylic maple bonsai tree from Tokyo.
Bonsai is a Japanese art form that combines horticultural techniques with design and aesthetics, by cultivating miniature trees in pots, acting as a representation of nature. This artificial bonsai tree is made in Tokyo with a combination of natural materials and acrylic using superior resin processing techniques. The clear, translucent material of acrylic allows the light to shine through the canopy of the tree, creating shades in the colour of the leaves which results in a three-dimensional effect. Combined with the detailed, realistic painting, the tree looks much like a real bonsai maple tree, planted in a wooden pot. The white gravel under the transparent fibreglass base resembles a Japanese stone garden further adding to the elegant design of the tree. Maple trees, known as momiji in Japanese, are the representative trees of the autumn season, due to their distinct red leaves.
