An award-winning aluminium cup, originally designed for use in nurseries and schools, produced in East Osaka.
This small alumunium cup was originally designed in the 1950s for use in nurseries and schools. Its rounded form and handle make it easy for small hands to hold, and it is lightweight, rust-resistant and unlikely to crack or shatter. In 2012, the cup received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD’s LONG LIFE AWARD, recognising its durability, potential for recycling, and thoughtful design with sustainability in mind.
Robust and versatile, the cup can also be clipped to a rucksack with a carabiner for use on outdoor expeditions.
