Created by Hoverlight in Tsubame Sanjō, Niigata Prefecture, an area renowned for metalwork, this spork is the result of a pursuit to produce the world’s lightest metal cutlery. Its curved plate structure is inspired by the design of the Sydney Opera House, and is crafted from hard-anodised aluminium for enhanced durability and resistance to wear.
Careful attention has been paid to the spork’s form, its curved shape provides both strength and a comfortable grip. The rounded and tapered end is well-suited for twirling spaghetti or noodles, making it a versatile utensil for outdoor dining that combines practicality with thoughtful design.
