Artisan-made soy sauce aged in cedar barrels in Nagano Prefecture.
This premium soy sauce is made from round soybeans and wheat grown in Nagano Prefecture, and brewed with sun-dried salt and water from the natural underground springs of the Shiga Highlands. It is aged in seasoned cedar barrels which have been in use since 1869 to produce a rich, umami flavour that enhances the taste of sashimi, grilled fish, tofu and other dishes. Whether used as dipping sauce or as a seasoning, this artisanal soy sauce is sure to elevate your dish to the next level.
