An award-winning body towel made from charcoal and corn fibres for a rich lather and eco-friendly comfort.
This softly knitted body towel is made from yarn blended with Kishu Binchotan (a premium white charcoal) and corn-derived fibres. It creates a rich lather, gently cleanses the skin and dries quickly after use. The corn-derived fibres are mildly acidic, similar to the skin’s natural pH, making them comfortable to use. The towel biodegrades under natural environmental conditions and received the Omotenashi Selection Award 2020, an award for products and services that embody the spirit of Japanese hospitality.
Kiyoi (lit. ‘pure’ or ‘clean’) is a brand that delivers crafted products including body towels and kitchen cloths directly from its dedicated factory, with the aim of bringing a sense of purity and quality to everyday life.
