The book, Japanese Tea Stories, gives the reader a chance to deepen their knowledge, while the refreshing Hatsumukashi matcha and hand-crafted matcha whisk offer the chance to put learnings into practice through the hands-on experience of preparing and savouring Japanese tea at home. Each gift box is wrapped in a furoshiki (wrapping cloth) that features a red and white motif — colours that symbolize celebration. The furoshiki is expertly crafted by Yamada Sen-I, a Kyoto-based producer since 1937 and supplier to department stores across Japan.
