Enjoy sipping sake at home, with this hand-selected Japanese Sake Gift Box, containing a katakuchi (sake pouring flask) with two sake cups, and a mellow and smooth sake. Each gift box is wrapped in a furoshiki (wrapping cloth) that features a red and white motif — colours that symbolize celebration. The furoshiki is expertly crafted by Yamada Sen-I, a Kyoto-based producer since 1937 and supplier to department stores across Japan.

Junmai (lit. ‘pure rice’) indicates that no additional alcohol or additives were used in the brewing process.
Daiginjō is a premium category of sake celebrated for its delicate aroma and refined flavor. To qualify as daiginjō, the rice used must be polished to at least 50% of its original size, a process that removes impurities and unwanted flavors found in the outer layers of the grain. This extensive polishing leaves only the starchy inner core, resulting in a smoother, more delicate sake profile.
