Expertly handcrafted while adhering to contemporary design aesthetics, this coffee dropped set is made in the style of Banko-yaki. Banko-yaki is a type of Japanese pottery produced in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture and it’s well-known for its heat-resistant earthenware products. Incorporating the techniques and materials representative of this style, such as iron rich clay, the mug and dripper are shaped by hand and fired without glazing, resulting in a coarse texture and elegant shape. The dripper is designed to be used with cone-shaped coffee filters and comes with a bespoke brass holder, which allows you to see the coffee levels within the mug when using the dripper.
