Copic is a brand well-known for its excellent quality alcohol markers, each of which go through stringent quality control to ensure colour consistency from batch to batch. First, released in 1987, Copic markers were primarily meant for manga artists but have grown to be popular among illustrators and designers too due to their remarkable quality as well as the extensive range of colours they offer. Copic Sketch markers come in a total of 358 colours, each one double-ended with two types of soft nibs; one slightly broad and chisel-shaped and the other brush-shaped, both of which are replaceable. Their alcohol-based ink, contained within a comfortable, oval-shaped barrel, is non-toxic and low-odour. This high-quality ink applies smoothly to paper and its colours can be easily layered and blended. Unlike water-based inks, the Copic markers’ ink is streak-free and doesn’t smudge. Aiming to meet the high standards of artists, Copic Sketch markers are designed to be long-lasting and are easily refillable, becoming a permanent addition to your repertoire of art tools.
