A medium sized tea strainer crafted using kyō-kanaami, a metal wire hand-weaving craft, from Kyoto.
This medium sized tea strainer is produced by Tsujiwa Kanaami, a family-run workshop based in Kyoto that has specialised in kyō-kanaami, a metal wire hand-weaving craft, since 1933.
The wire is carefully woven to create a range of patterns that serve as the basis for kitchen accessories that are both intricate and durable. The copper used for the wire has antibacterial properties and superior heat transmission. The functional and decorative two-layered tea strainer is ideal for straining loose-leaf tea.
Keep dry.
Leave to dry naturally.
