A set of whisky tumblers with a kiriko-inspired cut-glass pattern by Hirota Glass.
Presented in a paulownia wood box, this set of cut-glass whisky tumblers is crafted by Hirota Glass in Tokyo. The aya pattern takes its name from a classic twill weave, expressed here through intricate kiriko cutwork skilfully engraved by master artisans to catch and reflect light from every angle.
Thin at the rim for a considered drinking experience, each glass becomes gradually thicker towards the base, providing durability when used with large ice cubes. The substantial base also helps slow heat transfer from the hand, allowing the ice to melt gradually. Suitable for serving whisky, brandy or plum wine.
Not suitable for boiling water, microwave or dishwasher.
9.3 x 9.1 cm, 300 ml each
