This porcelain salt shaker is made in Nagasaki Prefecture in the small town of Hasami, known for its 400-year tradition of producing high-quality porcelain. The salt shaker’s design resembles the round pebbles and rocks that have been polished smooth by water and sand found around riverbanks.
