KITO Wooden Plate FUTABA

This tray is crafted in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture and produced by Aizawa Mokko, a company that has specialized in woodworking for almost 80 years. As part of the KITO series, this tray was created based on the concept of ‘together with the trees’ and highlights the beautiful natural qualities of wood to help nurture respect and appreciation for the material and the forest from which it originates.

These small plates, mamezara (‘bean plates’), are ideal for serving small desserts or holding condiments such as salt or butter. They can also be used across the home to hold small accessories, or on a desktop for organizing stationery.

This small plate is crafted in the shape of a two-leaved sprout.

Wipe with a damp cloth to clean. For grease stains use a soft sponge with a mild detergent and was gently with water. Once washed, wipe dry.
Not suitable for microwave and dishwasher.
Do not use near open flames or ovens. It may cause burning, discolouration, distortion or cracking.
Avoid prolonged soaking in hot or cold water.
Thin-rimmed items can chip, so take care as not to bump or drop them.
