Kyo no Eriashi is a carefully made collection of wagashi, Japanese confectionery, made in Kyoto by specialized confectionery makers using wasanbon, a premium fine-grained sugar with origins dating to the 18th century. Wagashi are often served with tea during chadō ceremonies but can also be enjoyed on their own. The delicate white and pink colours and the elegant flavour of these sweets make them a great balance to the bittersweet taste of matcha tea.
