Mamegashi, or bean sweets, are a type of Japanese confectionery, made primarily from beans, such as soybeans, adzuki beans, or black beans. These mamegashi are meticulously crafted using domestically sourced soybeans, known for their abundance of nutrients including iron, dietary fibre and soy isoflavones. With a delicate balance of flavours, these mamegashi offer a soft and fluffy texture that gently melts in your mouth, while providing a satisfying crispness and matcha flavour with each bite.
