This highly fragrant yuzu ponzu is well-suited as a dipping sauce for hot pot, sashimi or dumplings, and for accompanying grilled meat or fish. It can also be used as a salad dressing or marinade.
Ponzu is a citrus-based sauce made from soy sauce, mirin (sweet, rice wine), rice vinegar, and Japanese citrus fruits, with a gentle sweetness and umami derived from ingredients such as kombu (kelp) or katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes).
