古典おりがみ
An origami set comprising six different Japanese motifs.
This DIY origami set is made by specialist origami makers, Cochae, based in Okayama Prefecture. Cochae creatively plays with the typical origami form, creating works from demin, discarded magazines and photographs. This create-at-home origami kit includes six varieties of well-known Japanese motifs, such as cranes, turtles, cicadas and frogs. Though intricate in design, each pattern comes with a folding diagram making it a simple process for beginners and small children.
The Kansai region includes the second-most populated metropolitan area in Japan with its largest city Osaka. Kyoto and Nara, two of Japan’s former capital cities, are home to important temples and shrines and strongholds of intangible cultural heritage, such as the Kyoto textile weaving skills of Nishijin.
