A paper vase cover hand crafted with Mino washi (Japanese paper) from Mino, Gifu Prefecture.
This paper vase cover is created from washi (Japanese paper) made from mulberry bark fibre by Hayashi Kōgei, renowned for handcrafting interior products from washi since 1949 in Mino, Gifu Prefecture. This region has crafted Mino washi for over a thousand years and is the birthplace of Gifu chōchin (paper lanterns).
