Pentel Smash Mechanical Pencil 0.5

Released in 1987 by Pentel, the Smash mechanical pencil draws inspiration from technical drafting pencils. Its design features include a 4 mm metal tip for precision and a window at the end of the barrel to indicate lead hardness.

A distinctive aspect of the design is the integration of the tip, grip and body into a single unit, which provides stability and prevents loosening during use. The brass body gives the pencil weight and balance, while small rubber squares at the tip form a grip for comfortable handling.

Refill leads are available in 0.5mm thickness.
