A lightweight embroidered necklace, entirely made from thread and inspired by polka dots, crafted in Kiryū, Gunma Prefecture.
This Polka Dot Necklace in Coral and Gold is crafted by Kasamori, a renowned embroidery company established in 1877, located in Kiryū, Gunma Prefecture.
The necklace was developed by blending their extensive embroidery expertise with fresh, inventive ideas. The intricate three-dimensional embroidery process begins with hand-drawn sketches, which are digitized and put into a large embroidery machine with ten heads, capable of stitching detailed designs.
The secret behind transforming the jewellery from a flat embroidered surface to its three-dimensional form lies in a water-soluble fabric base. After the embroidery is complete, the necklace is carefully hand-washed and the base dissolved, allowing the necklace to take shape.

-Please handle with care.
-Due to the nature of the material, colours may fade or transfer to other clothing when wet from sweat or rain, or when rubbed.
-Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
-Hand wash around 40 degrees and soak in water with dissolved cleaning agent. Leave to soak for 10 minutes. After soaking, place in fresh water to rinse gently and change water three times. Drain water and place on dry towel to remove moisture. Dry jewellery in a well ventilated shaded area with a clothes hanger for two days.
