伊羅保磁器 楕円形小皿
Oval-shaped porcelain plate coated with a modern version of the centuries-old irabo glaze.
This plate has been produced as part of the ReIRABO series, a porcelain collection born out of Yumiko Iihoshi’s experiments with the historical Irabo-yaki porcelain glaze that has been used in Japan since the 16th century. ReIRABO is a modern reinterpretation of Irabo-yaki ceramics, which are characterized by their uneven, cloudy appearance. Combining manual processes with mass production, ReIRABO pieces are created in collaboration with potteries all across Japan, using the original mould and irabo glaze recipe developed by Yumiko.
