A well-designed ecological notebook made of reed paper from Shiga Prefecture.
These notebooks are the result of important of environmental conservation activities. Made in Shiga Prefecture, the paper is produced from reed, harvested from the nearby Lake Biwa, with a portion of the sales going towards maintaining the local reed beds. Reeds not only provide a living habitat for birds and fish but also purify the air and water by absorbing CO2, nitrogen and phosphorus as they grow. The spine of the notebook features a ruler.
