This small porcelain mug is crafted in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture, a region celebrated for over four centuries for producing a high standard of porcelainware. Designed with clean lines, the mug is made from a natural stone and clay blend with a distinctive matte stone-like texture. It can be stacked with other mugs, a feature inspired by jubako (tiered boxes for food) to facilitate efficient storage. With many craftspeople involved in different parts of the production process and seasonal conditions that affect the redness of the clay, each piece is individual.
This mug is also available in a large size and a smooth gloss glaze finish.
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaning products, in an oven or on a open flame.
Size : Ø 8.5 × H 7.2 cm
