A collection of Japanese illustrator Saitō Yūsuke’s artworks.
Youthquake is a collection of Saitō Yūsuke’s illustrations, published to commemorate the 20th anniversary of his creative career. Structured without any classification, the book includes over 100 works produced in a variety of different styles, expressions and production methods – mainly digital, but also hand-drawn and hand-painted. From covers of music albums and magazines through to movie advertisements depicting famous actors, Youthquake presents some of the highlights of Saitō’s career.
Saitō Yūsuke (b. 1978) is an illustrator from Kanagawa. Trained at the Vantan Design Institute in Tokyo, he produces realistic digital paintings and animations, many of which have been featured in music, film, fashion, advertising and publishing, both internationally and in Japan.
