Sashiko Embroidered Oven Mitt

This rectangular oven mitt has sashiko stitching across the front, a form of Japanese needlework that involves quilting fabric. The neat, uniform rows of stitching combine durability with the character of handcrafted work. Lightly padded for heat protection, it has a pocket on the reverse for a grip and a loop for hanging.
