A four-ply sashiko thread with changing shades of red, blue and white.
A standard four-ply sashiko thread suitable for a wide range of patterns. Sashiko is a classic Japanese stitching technique. Its versatile thickness makes it easy to work with and cut cleanly, and the thread is wound onto a flat card for compact storage. Red, blue and white shades are blended within a single strand, creating a colour changing effect as the stitching progresses.
Founded in 1901, Yokota Co., Ltd. is known for its Daruma-branded threads, long used for sewing, embroidery and other needlecrafts. The thread is firmly twisted and resistant to breaking, while its smooth surface helps it glide easily through the fabric.
