A silver-plated copper spoon handcrafted by skilled metal artisans from Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture.
This series of silver-coated copper cutlery is skillfully fashioned by the metal craftspeople at Kōbō Aizawa in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, a region renowned for its metalworking industry. The minimal and contemporary design is plated in brushed silver, with the contrasting copper body left exposed at the end of the handle. The visible copper body and silver plating will naturally develop a patina as they tarnish over time, however their shine can be regained simply by polishing. The extensive range of cutlery can be used in a variety of settings, whether it be a formal dinner occasion or a casual coffee break.
This silver-coated copper spoon has a wide head, ideal for drinking soup or eating pasta. With a calibrated weight, the size aligns perfectly to be used as a set with the knife and fork.
Handwash only.
Size: L18.5xW4.5cm
