Smudge Incense Stick

The burning of incense is a long-practised tradition in Japan, closely tied to rituals and religious ceremonies for cleansing spaces. Created by masters of perfumery, using the leaves and branches of camphor trees (kusunoki) grown in Miyazaki Prefecture, and Japanese cypress (hinoki) grown in Mie Prefecture, this smudge incense stick will create a tranquil space to help you cleanse your mind.

Remove the wrapper from the smudge before lighting the tip.
Light it on a non-flamable container or plate.
Use it in a well-ventilated area.
Take adequate precautions when handling fire.
