Zach Mangan is the founder of Kettl, based in Fukuoka and Brooklyn. After travelling to Japan in 2010, he recognized that many of the freshest and finest teas were not being exported. He subsequently spent two years developing relationships with Japanese tea producers and has since carried out extensive research into tea-growing regions while promoting Japanese tea cultures to international audiences.
