An extensive guide to the various wrapping methods of furoshiki, (wrapping cloths).
This easy-to-follow book introduces a wide range of wrapping methods using furoshiki (wrapping cloth). It presents techniques across chapters that progress from simple, medium-sized wraps to larger furoshiki used to tie into various types of bags, as well as distinctive methods for wrapping specific objects such as books or tissue boxes using smaller cloths.
The book also offers tips and advice on choosing the appropriate size of furoshiki for different purposes and explains how certain wrapping styles can highlight the cloth’s patterns. By exploring the versatility of furoshiki and the playfulness of wrapping, the book aims to inspire new ideas for gift wrapping.
