トタン文化ちりとり
A handmade tin dustpan from Osaka.
While most dustpans today are made of synthetic materials such as plastic, this dustpan from Osaka is individually handmade by small manufacturers using tin. Tin is a soft and malleable material that is not only lightweight but also particularly resistant to corrosion. There can be a special pleasure tidying around the house with this item, free from the noise of a vacuum cleaner. These tin dustpans should last a great deal longer than ones made of plastic and can even act as an attractive piece of interior decor if hung from the wall on their loop.
Doesn’t require special care.

The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
