ステインレス風鈴スタンド
A stainless steel wind chime stand with a contemporary design made in Takaoka City.
Combining established metalworking techniques and contemporary design, this elegant wind chime stand is made by skilled craftspeople in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. The stand is designated for wind chimes made by Nousaku, which are hand-cast from brass, a material used historically for Buddhist ritual objects and musical instruments, and resonate with a soothing tone. Each chime is one of a kind with slight differences in weight, texture and tone. The pieces are hand finished with a chisel, creating simple, unidirectional lines, marks of the craftsmanship that goes into these chimes. The stand allows you to enjoy the melodic charm of these wind chimes even when indoors.
The central Chūbu region is predominantly mountainous, home to the rugged Japan Alps with coasts on both the Sea of Japan and the Pacific Ocean. The region's history has been shaped by its strategic position between the great cities of Kyoto and Tokyo with Nagoya at its heart. Niigata lies to the north while Mt Fuji can be found in the south in Shizuoka Prefecture.
