A handcrafted wine glass with a thin yet durable form, from Chiba Prefecture.
This wine glass has been crafted by hand with precision by Sugahara Glasswork to produce thin, lightweight walls while remaining exceptionally durable. The elegant stem supports a smooth rounded bowl that has been shaped to enhance the aroma of wine. These details reflect a knowledge of expert glassmaking which has been developed over nearly a century.
Use neutral detergent without a scrubbing agent to avoid scratching the glass.
Do not use metal sponges as these may scratch the glass.
Scratches may result in breakages.
We recommend hand washing. If using dishwasher, please ensure glasses are not hit by water jets and cannot hit one another.
Not suitable for microwaves or ovens.
Glass is not heatproof: avoid sudden heating or cooling.
