This stand was made in collaboration with designer Hanazawa Keita who is known for his innovative, modern furniture designs and everyday items with thought-provoking shapes.
The stand is made of hinoki, Japanese cypress, using a combination of woodturning techniques that have stood that test of time and new, innovative approaches. Using a lathe, the wood is carefully carved into delicate shapes.
Hinoki is known for being durable yet lightweight and for having a relaxing fragrance; all qualities which can be enjoyed with this stand.
