A fine wool scarf crafted by Nuno with bold geometric patterns.
Created by Nuno, a textile design firm founded in 1984 in Tokyo’s Roppongi district, this scarf features bold graphic patterns.
The double-weave fabric is made from combed wool yarn spun from fine Merino sheep’s wool, with a smooth, low-fuzz texture. It is woven on a loom typically used for fukuro obi – a type of obi (kimono sash) made by sewing front and back panels together – creating dynamic geometric patterns in contrasting colour tones on either side.
