焼き鳥ソース
A sweet and savoury yakitori sauce made with Fukuoka Marudaizu soy sauce, ideal for glazing grilled skewers.
Although named yakitori (grilled chicken) sauce, this condiment is ideal for adding depth of flavour to any grilled skewer. Commonly found in Japanese households, yakitori sauce is typically made by combining sake, soy sauce, brown sugar, and mirin (sweet rice wine). This version is crafted with Fukuoka Marudaizu soy sauce, produced from whole soybeans, which offer a milder and more complex flavour than sauces made from a blend of whole and defatted soybeans. The sauce can be used to marinate skewers before grilling and brushed on while cooking over hot coals to create a rich glaze.
