Add-ons total:

This DIY flower vase is designed by Rei Mitsui Architects and Tachi Tomohiro, a professor and origami researcher at the University of Tokyo. Incorporating scientific origami principles, the graceful, twisted structure of the vase can be folded from a single, flat sheet of paper, demonstrating the complex possibilities that can be derived from a simple object. Using innovative computational origami, the vase evokes a sense of handcrafted pottery and perfectly highlights the flowers within. It features a print design that manipulates the shading of the vase and creates an illusion of disappearance, attempting to diminish the vase’s visibility and enhance the presence of flowers.
