Add-ons total:

This brass incense holder is produced in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, a region renowned for its metal-casting industry. Each product undergoes a process of sand casting, where molten metal is poured into a mould made of sand, and is then hand finished to give each piece a distinct individuality. There is no coating once the product is polished so the patina of the metal will deepen and develop over the years.
The incense holder is in the shape of a shishi, a guardian lion, that holds the incense in its mouth and stands on a bronze plate which collects the ash.

Individual items will differ from one another slightly, due to their handmade nature.
