A carefully crafted tin ladle from Osaka.

Ladles of this shape were widely used in Japan in the past. They acted as a convenient everyday tool for the kitchen and the garden, and to this day are used to draw water from wells at shinto shrines. As they are made of tin and wood, they are both durable and lightweight, making them a convenient alternative to heavy buckets and jugs when watering plants in and around the home.

Dishwasher safe.
