The Manga Packing Tape goes beyond the function of a regular packing tape as it serves as a way to visualize the feelings of the sender and the story behind the gift or item. Styled in the design of a manga strip, the tape is divided into cells with speech bubbles and space for drawing illustrations. Manga refers to the popular graphic-style novels which are widely read and enjoyed by all ages both in Japan and the around the world. Designed to ‘send feelings’, the Manga Packing Tape won the Merit Award of the KOKUYO Design Awards in 2016.
